DESCRIPTION:Let’s roll up our sleeves and help those in need! \nGive a few hours and show practical love and care to some of our most vulnerable neighbours in Ryde by helping with cleaning\, gardening\, and other basic household tasks. \nThis friendly neighbourhood working bee will be focused on a social housing location in Ryde. You don’t need any special skills to be part of this activity! Just a willingness to serve in practical ways. \nWe’ll be working in teams\, so you’ll have plenty of support including from experienced leaders from Link Wentworth and The Salvation Army. \nHere’s some of the things we will do on the day: \n\nHelp residents with basic cleaning and gardening tasks that they find difficult\nHelp with some basic household tasks like changing lightbulbs for residents who can’t do this themselves\nHelp care for the common areas of properties\n\nWe’re currently looking volunteers for Monday 25 November from 10.30am until 2pm-ish. If you’d love to be involved\, please get in touch with me below! \nNote on venue: Please note that the exact venue for this activity will be shared with volunteers after they have registered.
