The Ryde Community Coffee Van runs pop-up cafes for vulnerable and disadvantaged people in various locations around Ryde on Thursdays.
This ministry plays a key role in providing support to vulnerable people by creating healthy relationships and letting people know that someone cares for them.
We’re always looking for volunteers – all you need is a friendly smile and a willingness to have a chat!
Volunteer roles include:
- Taking coffee/tea orders
- Having a chat and making relationships with local residents
- Just being a friendly and caring person!
- If you have barista skills, you can also help on the coffee machine
